MAXINE D. NEUBERT, age 97 of Sidney, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 7:27 AM at Ohio Living Dorothy Love. She was born on March 30, 1926, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of the late Joseph Henry and Lida Jane (Clark) Alsup. On October 11, 1946 she married Richard O. Neubert who preceded her in death August 6, 1997.

She is survived by four children: Deborah (Drew) Barber, Diana (Jim) Jones both of Kansas City, MO, Leslie (Randy) Hart of Plano, TX, and Rick (Jill) Neubert of South Bend, IN, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, and seven sisters.

Mrs. Neubert retired as an administrative assistant for NCR, working in information technologies.

Maxine's children will always remember her singing around the house and in the church choir. She was a trained soprano and when she called her kids in for dinner, they always heard her. Maxine gave her children the gift of music, reading and along with their father, the love for the St. Louis Cardinals.

Private Services will be held in Missouri at the family's discretion. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home.
