Mary Lou Davis

Mary Lou (Boggs) Davis, 95, passed away on February 1, 2026, in Muncie, Indiana. She was born on June 10, 1930. Mary was the eighth of 15 brothers and sisters. She grew up in McKee, Kentucky, and attended Anniville Institute School, where she met Bob Davis. They were married in 1948 and spent five years in Berea, Kentucky, before moving to New Albany, Indiana.

Mary had two children, Ben and Betsy. She worked as an Avon representative for 38 years. After the passing of her husband, she lived with her daughter, Betsy, and worked with her for 12 years at the Hallmark Wooden Key in the Muncie Mall. Mary loved the customers, and they loved her.

Mary leaves behind a legacy of exemplifying the importance of faith and family to all who knew her. She had a passion for helping those in need and often provided food, transportation, and hospital visits.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Betsy (Tony); daughter-in-law, Sharon; grandsons, Pat, Denny, Joe, and Ben; granddaughter, Andi; great-grandchildren, Ellie, Leah, Reece, Robbie, Lauren, and Jillian; great-great-grandson, Jacob; and one brother, Bob. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; her son, Rev. Ben Davis; and 13 of her brothers and sisters.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Morrison Woods for their outstanding care.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 11 A.M. at Connection Point Church of God in Sidney, Ohio. Visitation will be from 10 A.M. until the time of service.
