Mary Louise Keen

Mary Louise Keen, age 80, of Sidney, passed away peacefully at 3:20 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at St. Rita’s Medical Center.

She was born on February 10, 1945, in Champaign County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary (Gibson) Milligan.

Mary is survived by her children, Mary (Jason) Bingham and Jimmy (Christina) Keen; her beloved grandchildren, Cody Griffin, Alyssa Miller, Vanessa Keen, Jimmy Keen Jr., Seth Keen, Jeffrey Landrum, and Mary Landrum; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Laina Keen, Arielle Keen, Laityn Keen, Brooklyn Griffin, Nova Griffin, Da’shawn Keen, Shalayah Miller, Cheyenne Miller, Shaylynn Miller, Rosetta Keen, and Violet Keen. She also leaves behind her sisters, Nancy Castle, Freda Cole, Sue Milligan, Martha Baker, and Alice Milligan, as well as many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her son, Henry Craig Keen, and siblings Ellen Milligan, Samuel H. Milligan, William E. Milligan, Charles D. Milligan, Donald “Butch” Milligan, Henry A. Milligan, and Samuel “Buck” Milligan.

Mary grew up in a large family as one of 13 children. She was a dedicated caregiver and retired from Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Minster. She found joy in reading, listening to music, and spending time with those she loved. Above all, Mary’s greatest treasure in life was her family.
