Martin "Marty" Kies

Martin “Marty” Kies age 65 of Quincy passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 12:36 PM at Wilson Health. He was born the son of Elmer and Marilyn (Strohmenger) Kies on October 27, 1958 in Piqua.

Marty is survived by his loving family, wife Pam (Elliott) Kies, daughter Lisa (Scott) McFeely, grandchildren Aiden and Parker, siblings Jeff (Tina) Kies, Doug (MaryJo) Kies, Kelley (Ron) Brautigam, Chuck (Kim) Kies, Rhonda Kies, Jenny Kies, and Ryan Kies stepmother Cheryl E. Kies, brother-in-law Tim Cummings, several nieces and nephews, mother-in-law Patsy Elliott, and brother-in-law Randy (Tammy) Elliott.

Marty is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Yvonne Cummings.

Marty graduated from Fairlawn High School. He enjoyed farming and helping his family. Most of all he loved riding his Harley Davidson and working at Gover Harley Davidson in Piqua where he had many friends. Marty was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, son and brother. He will be missed by all who love him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024 at 1:00-5:00 PM at Rosewood Township Hall by the family. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cromesfh.com
