MARILYN ARLENE RIDDLE, age 93 of Sidney, passed away peacefully to see her Lord and Savior and preceded family members on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 5:41 PM at Vancrest - Upper Valley in Troy. She was born on August 20, 1932, in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of the late Roy and Ella (Brautigam) Ely.
She is survived by four children: Cathy (Larry) Brandyberry, Russ Riddle both of Sidney, Rick (Donna) Riddle of Columbus, IN, and Rob (Jackie) Riddle of Marysville, six grandchildren: Beth Ann (Brian) Warnecke, Betsy Jo (Ryan) Long, Derek (Megan) Riddle, Megan Riddle, Ryan (Colleen) Riddle, and Cole (Olivia) Riddle, seven great-grandchildren: Maryssa, and Tyler Warnecke, Ella, Eli, Reid, and Myles Riddle, and Colton Long, sister-in-law, Ellen Ely of Piqua, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Ely.
Marilyn was a 1950 graduate of the former Perry High School, now Fairlawn High School. She was a dedicated individual who worked for 19 years in human resources at Copeland Corp, seven years as a cashier at Chase Bank One, and retired as an associate from Walmart after 27 years of service. She was a member of Only Believe Church in Botkins.
Marily was a devout Christian, avid Vikings fan, and above all, a devoted mother and grandmother to her family, who enjoyed watching all of their sporting and extracurricular events.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Pastor Nicole Waters officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM.
