Marie Patterson

Marie Patterson, age 84 of Sidney, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at home. She was born on May 7, 1939, in Charleston, WV, the daughter of Joe and Madge (Shobe) Scully.

Marie is survived by her loving family, husband, whom she married on April 8, 1961, Hank Patterson, sons John (Gaila) Patterson and Michael (Debbie) Patterson, grandchildren, Jennifer (Chris) Mills and Jacob Patterson and soon to be great grandson, siblings, Mike Scully, Butch (partner Esther) Scully, Francie (John) O’Leary, sister-n-law, Barbara Scully, and several nieces and nephews.

Marie is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Patricia Bergman, brother-n-law, Paul Bergman, brother, John Scully and sister-n-law, Sherry Scully.

Marie retired from Stolle Memory Disk, and Schindler Elevator. She attended Holy Angels Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing cards, golfing, bowling, and wintering in Florida with Hank. Marie was a loving wife, mom, grandma, and sister. She will be missed by all who love her.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 12:00 PM (Noon) at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave. Sidney with Deacon Philip Myers, officiating. Burial to follow at Shelby Memory Gardens. Friends may visit from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
