Marian J. (Egbert) Price

MARIAN J. PRICE, 97, of Sidney passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 6:35 PM at Ohio Living Dorothy Love. She was born on November 16, 1924 in Shelby County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Theodore and Margaret (Ziegenbusch) Egbert. On October 19, 1943, Marian married William Price Jr., who preceded her in death September 20, 2002.

She is survived by two children, Marilyn Shrimplin of Sidney and Susan (Randy) Bechtel of Vandalia; eleven grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren and sister, Lois Nagle of Anna. Marian was preceded in death by daughter, Mary Lou Zwiesler, six siblings and two sons-in-law, Larry Zwiesler and Mike Shrimplin. 

Marian was a Homemaker all her life. She was a member of the Auxiliary American Legion Post 217 and the Senior Center. Marian was an avid card player in which she enjoyed going to the Senior Center to play cards. She was a lifetime member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ. 

A Memorial Service will be held Monday June 13, 2022 at 12 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave with Rev. James Oates officiating.  Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney, Ohio. Friends may visit from 10 AM up until time of the service at the funeral home.
