Marcella Mae Hensley, 90, of Sidney, passed away at 9:40 A.M. Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Dorothy Love Retirement Community in Sidney. She was born June 21, 1935, in Lena, Ohio, to the late Herbert and Thelma (Deal) Ceyler.
On August 14, 1954, she married Clifford Hensley, who preceded her in death. Marcella is survived by her three children, Mark Hensley of Boise, Idaho, Angela Hensley of Sidney, and Darius (Sheila) Hensley of Nashville, Tennessee; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three nieces; and one nephew. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Richard, Ronald, and Russell Ceyler.
Marcella retired in 1995 after 23 years as a machinist at Copeland Corporation. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene and Moose Lodge #568. Marcella enjoyed painting, collecting figurines, decorating for holidays, and spending time with family and friends. She never met a stranger and was known for her warm personality, quick wit, and love of making others laugh with her jokes and stories. She especially cherished time spent with her grandchildren and loved attending family gatherings whenever possible.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 10 A.M. at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Danny A. Cecil, Lt Col, USAF (ret) officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home & Crematory.
