LYSLE G. HELMAN SR., 84, of Greenville passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 8:15 PM at his residence. He was born on September 23, 1936 in Shelby County, Ohio, the son of the late Earl and Edna (Burns) Helman. On October 6, 1984, Lysle married the former Cacilia Weinsteiger, who survives.

He is survived by three children, Lysle Helman Jr., Crystal (Keith) Stinson and Marty (Mike) Kohlbaker; six step-children, Barbara Meister, Ruthanna (Terry) Leedom, Donna (Mike) Sharp, Karen (Mike Braun) Price, Linda Owens and Nancy Welbaum and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lysle was preceded in death by two sons, Dion and Darren Helman and five siblings, Juanita Helman, June Knouff, Norris Helman, Dale Helman and Marjorie Wick.

Mr. Helman worked as a Carpenter for Unibilt. Lysle was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #2177 and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 329. He was an avid bowler and a NASCAR Dale Earnhardt Sr. fan. Lysle was a family man who loved spending time with his family. The family would like to give a special thanks to Mike Braun who was a caregiver to Lysle.

Services are to be held at a later date at the discretion of the family. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney. Memorial contributions may be made to EverHeart Hospice 1350 N. Broadway St Greenville, OH 45331 in Lysle memory.
