Linda Gail (Phelps) Varno

LINDA GAIL VARNO, 63, of Sidney passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 7:20 AM at her residence.
She was born on December 22, 1954 in Harlan, Kentucky, the daughter of the late James and Roberta (Vaughn) Phelps. On July 7, 2007, Linda married Robert Varno, who survives

She is survived by one son, Jon W. (Carrie) Turner of Houston; two step-children, Ashley and Jessica Varno; eight grandchildren and  three siblings, Glenda Polsar of Lima, Brenda McCarty and Lee Phelps both of Sidney. Linda was preceded in death by husband, John Turner and brother, Dave Phelps.

Mrs. Varno was employed by Krogers for over 20 years. She was a hard worker in which she worked many different retail jobs throughout the years. Linda enjoyed camping and spending time with her family at her property in Port Jefferson.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday May 1, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Cromes - Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney, with Pastor Chad Inman officiating.  Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens in Sidney, Ohio. Friends may visit Monday, April 30, 2018 from 4 PM-7 PM at Cromes - Edwards Funeral Home. Memorials contributions may be made to Wilson Health Hospice in Linda's memory.
