Linda L. Muir

LINDA L. MUIR, 81, of Sidney, passed away at 12:10 A.M. Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Randall Residence of Tipp City. She was born on October 3, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late Clifton and Virginia (Stevenson) Ladd. 

On November 1, 1958 she married Earl Muir, who survives along with two daughters, Earla Muir of Greenville and Penny (Craig) Eley of Sidney; two grandchildren, Brittany (Gary) Roesser and Ryan Eley; two great-grandchildren, Hayley and Miles; and special cousin, Phyllis Sanders.

Linda was a founding member of FISH of Shelby County and volunteered much of her time there over the years. She enjoyed flower gardening, especially roses; and bird watching, cardinals being her favorite. For several years, she owned her own ceramic business, Linda's Gifts. Linda loved traveling, something her and Earl enjoyed doing together. They traveled most of the United States by RV and spent many winters together in Florida. Linda was a member of Piqua Christian Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 3, 2021 at 11:30 AM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Toon officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10 A.M. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to CCHO - Christian Children's Home of Ohio, or FISH in Linda's memory.
