Linda Knouff

LINDA KNOUFF, 80, of Sidney passed away at 3:58 A.M. Monday, June 2, 2025 at her residence. She was born on December 3, 1944 in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of the late Russell and Virginia (Henderson) Davis. On August 2, 1963 she married John P. Knouff who preceded her in death on June 9, 2018.

Linda is survived by three grandchildren, Matthew (Anne) Abbott, Erica Martin, and Danielle (Allan) Lovett; seven great-grandchildren, Rylen, Rozlyn, Avonell, Kimberlyn, Damien, Liam, and Nolan; one great-great-granddaughter, Octavia; siblings, Sheila Strunk, and Russell (Cindy) Davis; numerous nieces and nephews; and special niece, Amanda (Steve) Brautigam. She was preceded in death by her son, Brent Knouff; brother, Howard Davis; and brother-in-law, Joe Strunk.

Linda began her career at Copeland Corporation, where she worked as an accounting clerk for two years. She then spent nearly three decades with Sprint, serving as a secretary. Before retiring, she concluded her career as a secretary for the Shelby County Courts.

Linda had a passion for collecting Fenton bells and shared a love of drag racing and car shows with her husband, John. Together, they enjoyed traveling and had the joy of exploring much of the United States. Above all, Linda cherished her family and treasured every moment spent with them. She was loved greatly and will be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 4 P.M. at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Randy Reed officiating. Visitation will be from 2 P.M. until the time of service. Her final resting place will be at Beechwood Cemetery in Lockington.
