Linda Sue (Murphy) Creekmore

LINDA SUE CREEKMORE, age 68 of Sidney, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 1:00 AM at her home. She was born on January 1, 1953 in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of the late Robert and Eva (King) Murphy. On July 18, 1977 she married Jackie L. Creekmore who preceded her in death June 28, 2007.

Linda is survived by five children, Gerri Heatherly of Piqua, Jennifer Hernandez of Minster, Johnny Creekmore, Douglas (Amber Latimer) Creekmore both of Sidney, and Brittany (Jose) Monrreal of Greenville, five grandkids, three great-grandkids, and six siblings, Faye (Darrel) Harness, Geraldine (Larry) Yantis, Ray (Connie) Murphy, Henry (Betty) Murphy, Robert Murphy, and Cindy (Jessie) Stephens all of Sidney. She was preceded in death by two siblings, Betty Lou Hickman, and Douglas Miller.

Linda worked for Fair Haven Shelby County Home as an STNA and later worked and retired from AVI Foodsystems, Inc. She was a member of Brooklyn Avenue Church of God in Sidney.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 16, 2021 at 10 AM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Rev. Arnold G. Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens in Sidney. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 to 7 PM.
