Linda Kay Blankenship

LINDA KAY BLANKENSHIP, 49, of Findlay, passed away at 3:02 A.M. Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay, Ohio. She was born on December 22, 1973 in Greenville, Ohio, the daughter of Gary (Ethel) Blankenship Sr. of Quincy, and Delores (Deal) Blankenship of Sidney.

Linda is survived by two sons, Jacob (Lindsay) Blankenship, and Jace (Cara) Blankenship, both of Findlay; two grandchildren, Lincoln, and Shiloh Blankenship; four siblings, Rob (Joelene) Blankenship of Anna, Jeremy (Keith) Blankenship of Findlay, Gary (Justine) Blankenship Jr. of Anna, and Chelsie Blankenship of Findlay; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by aunt, Barb Deal.

Linda was a graduate of Anna High School, class of 1992. She was a member of Cedar Creek Church in Findlay, and a devout Christian all her life. Linda enjoyed doing volunteer work for the Salvation Army in both Sidney and Findlay. She loved time on the beach at Ocean Lakes in Myrtle Beach and was an avid Michigan football fan. Her greatest joy was her family and spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. A request of Linda’s was that attire for her funeral be casual dress with your favorite team jersey.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 3, 2023 at 1 P.M. at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Major Herb Carter officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11 A.M. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made to the Nicole Wilcox Foundation (nicolewilcoxfoundation.com) in Linda’s memory.
