Lawrence "Larry" J. Grieshop

LAWRENCE “LARRY” J. GRIESHOP, 80, of Sidney passed away Friday, October 13, 2023 at 9:10 AM at Shelby Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born on July 30, 1943 in Shelby County, Ohio, the son of the late Hubert and Anna Mary (Meyer) Grieshop. On June 12, 1965, Larry married the former Rebecca Zimpfer, who survives.

He is survived by son, Jim Grieshop of Moraine; two grandchildren, Carlton Grieshop of Moraine and Gabby Grieshop of Middletown; three siblings, Mr. and Mrs. Janet Smith of Pennsylvania, Mrs. Becki Sharp of Columbus and Mrs. Barb Cole of Sidney. Larry was preceded in death by brother, Bill Grieshop.

Mr. Grieshop worked at Monarch Machine in Sidney. He also lived in Texas for over 13 years which he worked at Texas Iron. Larry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during 1963-1967. He was a member of the American Legion Post 217 and PVA.

A Private Graveside Service will be held at Pearl Cemetery with Rev. Michael Althauser officiating. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney. Condolences may be expressed to the Grieshop family at our website, www.cromesfh.com
