Lawrence W. Taylor Jr.

Lawrence W. Taylor Jr. age 71 of Sidney passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 8:59 PM at Wilson Health. He was born June 22, 1952 in Wiborg, Kentucky, the son of Lawrence Taylor Sr. and Gloria (Strunk) Bruce.

He is survived by his loving family, wife Rose Ellen Jo (Fleming) Taylor, children, Angela Hawk, Albert (Tammy) Taylor, and Brandy (Jason) Allen, grandchildren, Heather Hawk, Brandon Hawk, Madisyn Allen and Isabella Taylor, great grandchildren, Jayden, Amelia and Landon, brother Ronald (Rita) Taylor, brother-in-law Estel Watters, and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Cynthia Watters.

He was a man of many talents, a phenomenal carpenter and could fix just about anything. He loved to hunt, fish and camp. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren and was especially proud of his 3 great grandchildren. He never held back a joke or trick from waking up to something hidden in your shoes to a simple “pull my finger”. He loved his family deeply but most of all his wife, Jo of 52 years. He will be greatly missed by his family.
