LARRY RICHARD KNOUFF, 74, of Kettering, Ohio, formerly of Sidney, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021 at his residence. He was born on March 7, 1947 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late James and June (Helman) Knouff.
Larry is survived by one brother, Richard Knouff of Sidney; nieces, Staci (Kevin) Roth of Casstown and Amie Raines of Englewood; nephew, Matthew Knouff of Piqua, great-nieces, Michaela Raines and Kylie Roth; great-nephews, Michael and Julian Franklin, and Carson Roth; and many cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas J. and David J. Knouff, and great-niece, Dorothy.
Larry was a graduate of Houston High School, class of 1965. He graduated from Bowling Green in 1969. Following college, Larry was drafted into the United States Army and served for more than 2 years, most of which was spent in Germany. He went on to work as a military contractor for DESI and Wright Patterson AFB for the rest of his career until he retired for health issues.
Larry greatly enjoyed music and was a gifted vocalist. He sang at many weddings, performed with the Cincinnati Philharmonic and was a member of the church choir at Christ Church United Methodist in Kettering where he was a faithful member for many years. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his close friends and family.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens in Sidney.
