Kevin Copeland Obituary

KEVIN WAYNE COPELAND, age 67 of Troy, passed away Monday, October 16, 2023, at his residence. He was born on November 30, 1955, in Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late Francis M. and Lillian J. (Locker) Copeland.

He is survived by two children, Trisha (David) Elliott of Piqua, and Brian (Katie) Copeland of Troy, former wife, Carolyn Copeland of Sidney, four grandchildren: Eli, Ivy, and Everett Copeland, and Karlie Elliott, and two siblings, Mark (Melissa) Copeland, and Sue (Jim) Hull both of Sidney. He was preceded in death by son, Brandon Copeland, and brother, Francis Marion Copeland.

Kevin was a Sidney High School graduate, Class of 1974. He spent much of his career in the steel industry as a laborer, fabricator, and eventually entrepreneur. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals fan.

No Services are to be held at this time. A Celebration of Kevin's Life will take place at a later date at the family's convenience. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home.
