Kathleen Jane (Hammer) Ferguson

KATHLEEN JANE (HAMMER) FERGUSON, 76, of Sidney passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021 at 6:25 AM at her residence. She was born on December 25, 1944 in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of the late Robert and Wilma (Scholl) Hammer. On April 4, 1964, Kathleen married William A. "Butch" Ferguson, who preceded her in death March 12, 2008.

She is survived by five children, Robert and Lisa (Herring) Ferguson, William S. and Brenda (Ahrens) Ferguson, Robin and Raymond Cutlip, Rodney and Lindsey (Watkins) Ferguson and Kathryn Crim all of Sidney; nineteen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren and two brothers, Bill Hammer and Joseph Hammer both of Sidney. Also survived by sister-in-law, Darlen Gaylor Ferguson of Sidney, Donna J. (John) Warner of Beverly Hills, FL and Marcella Hammer of Sidney. Kathleen was preceded in death by three brothers, one grandchild, two great grandchildren, one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law.

The joy of her life was her family, spending time with them. She loved moments at the beach with her daughter Robin and son-in-law Ray with their family. Christmas was her favorite time of year. Of all who knew her will have memories with nowhere to step due to the floor being covered with gifts of love from the heart for all those she loved. She was a woman with a heart full of love and whose home always had an open door, especially for her grandchildren. Kathleen retired after 25 years working for Walmart as an associate. She was a member of Full Gospel Community Church.
 
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday August 18, 2021 at 1 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney with Pastor Jeff Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney, Ohio. Friends may visit from 11 AM up until time of service at the funeral home.
