Julietta Adkins

JULIETTA ADKINS, of Sidney, passed away peacefully at 4:04 AM on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Lima Memorial Hospital, with her beloved husband, Allen, by her side. She was born on January 22, 1963, in Piqua, Ohio, to the late Pearl R. and Juliet V. (Ogden) Price.

Julietta grew up in Houston, Ohio, and went to Houston High School. In 1979, she met the love of her life, and on February 14, 1981, they were married in Hudson, Florida. Together, they built a life filled with love, joy, and family. They were blessed with two children, six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Julietta’s love for her family was immeasurable. She and Allen recently celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary. She is survived by her husband, Allen Adkins; son, Jessie Adkins; and daughter, Mandy (Daniel) Murray. Her grandchildren, who brought her endless joy, include Alyssa Echols, Norah Adkins, Alexander Murray, Caidence Murray, Allen Adkins, and Owen Murray. Julietta also cherished her great-grandson, Braxton Murray.
The youngest of twelve siblings, Julietta was part of a large, loving family. She is survived by her sisters and brothers: Marylou (James) McGee, Pearl Price Jr., Marsha Cromes, Howard Price, Teresa (David) Gregory, and Angela (Dale) Riffell. She was preceded in death by her siblings Melody Gutman, Walter Price, Gary Price, Patricia Market, and Sarah Howell.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at 12 P.M. at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Pastor John Young officiating. Visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of service. Condolences may be made to Julietta’s family at, www.cromesfh.com
