Also surviving are brothers-in-law Daryl Fair of Frazysburg, OH, and Larry (Leona) Fair of Stafford Springs, CT. Judy leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. Judy graduated from Sidney High School in 1959 and Miami Valley School of Nursing in 1962. She spent many years as a registered nurse caring for those around her. She and her husband, Don, moved to Ft. Myers in 1987, where she continued her career in nursing until retirement. They enjoyed traveling, taking many trips, cruises, and spending time together until Don’s extended illness. Judy cared for her husband at their home until his illness required him to move to an advanced care facility. Even so, she lovingly visited and cared for him daily by making sure his comforts and needs were well attended. With Judy’s passing, they are whole and together again to experience new adventures. During her last years of life, she enjoyed the companionship of many dear friends and neighbors. This is especially true of dear friend Marty Spillman, who was extremely helpful to Judy and Jenny during her remaining days.
A graveside service will be held at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney, Ohio on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 3 P.M. with Rev. Eileen Hix officiating. Friends and family are invited to attend.
