Joyce M. (Lillard) Cornell

JOYCE M CORNELL, 80, of Versailles passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 10:27 PM at Versailles Health Care Center. She was born on September 2, 1940 in Belle Center, Ohio, the daughter of the late Leo Carl and Eleanor (Suber) Lillard. On October 16, 1976, Joyce married William W. Cornell, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by two children, Tammy Jones of Sidney and Dan (Mary) Jarrett of Bellbrook; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Joyce was preceded in death by three sons, Randy Jeffery and Mark, three brothers, David Lillard, Paul Lillard and Raymond Lillard, sister, Barbara Levan and son in law, Jonathon Jones.

Mrs. Cornell retired after working over 30 years for Copeland Corporation. Joyce enjoyed decorating cakes, making candy and cooking. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Joyce was a member of St. Jacobs Lutheran Church in Anna. 

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday April 21, 2021 at 12 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney with Rev. David Eidson officiating.  Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Belle Center, Ohio. Friends may visit from 10:30 AM up until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Joyce's memory.
