Joshua Allen Shannon

JOSHUA ALLEN SHANNON, 33, of Piqua passed away Monday, March 9, 2020 in Troy. He was born on November 12, 1986 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Rusty and Deborah (Baugher) Shannon. On August 4, 2015 he married the former Amanda Griffieth, who survives.

He is also survived by sons Jacob Shannon and David McMillan III both of Piqua; daughter Kayanna McMillan of Piqua; siblings, Heather (Jeremy) Estep, Jason (Brandy) Shannon, Ashley Vanzant, Jeremiah Shannon, and Corrina (Brandon) Godwin; step-mother, Veronica Shannon; mother-in-law, Lori Griffieth; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Shannon; his father, Rusty Shannon; and grandmother, Judith Shannon.

Josh was definitely an outdoorsman; he especially enjoyed camping, hiking, and kayaking. More importantly, Joshua loved his family. He constantly talked about his kids and how proud he was of them and he talked about his dad.
