JONATHAN DAVID JONES, 62, of Sidney, passed away at 8:12 AM Sunday, April 5, 2020 at Troy Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. He was born on October 14, 1957 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late Russell and Charlotte (Jarrell) Jones.
On December 18, 1982 he married the former Tamara Jarrett, who survives in Sidney, along with two children, Briana Jones and Nicholas Jones. Also surviving are three siblings, Tim (Susan) Jones of South Carolina, Jennifer (Ron) Longmire of Sidney, and Charles (Tina) Jones of Jackson Center; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Foster Jones.
Jonathan was a member of Northtowne Church of God. He enjoyed golfing at any opportunity and going swimming with his kids. He was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
