Joey Franklin Obituary

JOEY J. FRANKLIN, 53, of Sidney, Ohio passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022 at his residence. He was born on October 25, 1968 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late James II and Mary (Medley) Franklin. On October 24, 1995 he married the former Sandra Henry, who preceded him in death on April 28, 2022.

Joey is survived by one son, Joseph Overton of Piqua; two grandchildren, Tyler Henry and Theodora Overton; and one brother, James Franklin III. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Tina Smith and Carol Rogers.

Joey lived a quiet life. He loved watching WWE wrestling. His greatest joy was his grandson, Tyler. The two of them were inseparable. If you saw one, you saw the other. He will be dearly missed.
