Jerry L. Turner

Jerry L. Turner age 68 of Sidney passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at home on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 11:21 AM. He was born the son of Milburn and Floralee (Hensley) Turner on June 13, 1957 in Sidney.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Wanda (Phillips) Turner who he married on June 6, 1976, his sons Joshua (Angie) Turner, Jeremy (Elizabeth) Turner, and Joseph (Amanda) Turner, grandchildren Erin Turner, Jordan Turner, Gage Turner, Tyler (Beth) Turner, Dustin Turner, Austin Turner, and Ian Turner, great grandchildren Avery Turner and Ember Turner, and sisters Loraine Jones and Linda Russell.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, brothers James Turner, Rodney Turner, Virgil Turner, and Milburn Turner Jr. and a granddaughter Cheyenne Turner.

Jerry was of Baptist Faith. He was a loving husband of 49 years, also a wonderful Dad and Pappy to the grandkids and great grandkids and the dogs. He started out selling vacuum cleaners then eventually went to selling cars. That wasn’t his passion. He ended selling Firearms. He not only had customers, he had true friends. He planned his Celebration of Life when he found out he couldn’t have a liver transplant. He planned a big cookout for the Fourth of July and wanted everyone he knew to be there. He told everyone there were 300 people there (we didn’t count). He wanted everyone that came to know he loved them. I want everyone to know how much I appreciate you making his day so special for him. His big smiles were so priceless.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 12:00 PM (Noon) at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Jim Bowman and Pastor Bryan Jones officiating. Burial to follow at Cedar Point Cemetery, Pasco. Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cromesfh.com
