Jerry McNeal, Jr.

JERRY MCNEAL, JR., 56, of Sidney, passed away at 3:06 P.M. Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at his residence. He was born on February 22, 1967 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of the late Jerry McNeal, Sr. and Donna (Reed) McNeal who survives in Wapakoneta.

Jerry is survived by his life companion of 26 years, Tina Valentine; four children, Jay (Brandie) McNeal of Beavercreek, OH, Christa McNeal of Dayton, OH, Ashley (Miguel Cortez) McNeal of Dayton, OH, and Aaron McNeal of Sidney; and four grandchildren, Cody, Anthony, Jaylee and Emmalee. He was preceded in death by one sister, Betty McNeal.

Jerry worked as a supervisor for Hydro Aluminum in Sidney for more than 20 years. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan. Jerry enjoyed cooking for his family, making people laugh and he had a great taste in music. He was a talented musician and loved collecting and playing his guitars. Jerry’s greatest joy was his family, all of whom will miss him dearly.
