Obituary
JEFFREY ALLEN YOUNG, age 65 of Sidney, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at 1:30 AM at his home. He was born on December 12, 1957, in Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late James and Edith (Dalton) Young.
On June 10, 1977, he married Linda (Kinninger) who survives along with three children: Tara (Jerry) Cowan, Aaron (Nicole Harris) Young both of Sidney, and Tiffany (Corey) Mummey of Houston, eight grandchildren: Macey, Deven, and Logan Cowan, Riley and Kaden Young, Peyton, Gemma, and Paulina Mummey, and four great-grandchildren: Arianna and Liam Henry, and Roman and Avaiah Cowan. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Danny, and Tony Young.
Jeff attended Edison State Community College. He worked as an operations manager for Copeland Corporation. He was a lifetime member of First Church of the Nazarene in Sidney. He enjoyed weightlifting, collecting RC and model cars, and was an avid Cincinnati Bengals and Reds fan.
A Celebration of Jeff's Life will be held Thursday, April 6, 2023, at 6 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Rev. Chad Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 to 6 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to honor Jeff may be made to Wilson Hospice. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cromesfh.com
