JEFFREY MCCRACKEN KLIPSTINE, age 74 of Sidney, passed away Friday, February 2, 2024, at 10:01 PM at his home. He was born on January 5, 1950, in Fort Louis, Washington, the son of the late Lt. Col. Charles W. and Dorothy (Lifer) Klipstine.
On December 4, 2001, he married Maryann (Wagner) who survives along with two daughters: Stacy, and Sarah Klipstine both of Cincinnati, two siblings: Charles William "Bill" Klipstine III, and Marcia Frantom, granddaughter, Taylor Tolle, and two great-grandchildren: Jayden, and Josiah. He was preceded in death by brother, Douglas Klipstine.
Mr. Klipstine was a U.S. Army Veteran serving his country from 1969 to 1970. After the service he worked for the Traffic Department at The Ohio State University. Following his time at OSU he worked in automotive sales, and most recently as a Bail Bond Agent/Bounty Hunter for 17 years. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, Elks Lodge, and Loyal Order of Moose.
Jeffrey loved white water rafting, skydiving, paintball, and was a true adventure seeker.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 9, 2024, at 10:30 AM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Spencer Jenkins officiating. Burial, with full military honors by Sidney American Legion and the U.S. Army, will be at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 to 7 PM.
