Jeffrey "Jeff" Gillman

Jeffrey (Jeff) Gillman of Sidney passed away on July 13, 2024, at Ohio's Hospice of Miami County.

He was born on September 25, 1964, to Wally and Becky (Young) Gillman. His father preceded him in death 1 day before him. His mother survives along with siblings Lisa Sparks (Mark Coverstone) and Kevin (Kathy)Gillman. Jeff had several nieces and nephews. 

Jeff was a Shelby County Sheriff's Deputy and had the first drug dogs (Eiwa and Emir). They were able to take several large quantities of drugs out of circulation.

Jeff was involved with farming all of his life, along with his father and brother.

A time of remembrance will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024, 4:00 PM to 6:45 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home. Graveside Services are to be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at 2:30 PM alongside his father Walter (Wally) Gillman at Cedar Point Cemetery.
