Jeffery Scott Sailor

JEFFERY SCOTT SAILOR, 56, of Sidney, passed away with family surrounding him at 2:40 PM Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Miami Valley Hospital after a sudden illness.  He was born on August 15, 1961 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of Lynn Sailor of Sidney and the late Geraldine (Abbott) Sailor. 

Jeffery is survived by his oldest sister, Valerie (Joe) Heistermann of Sidney, nephew Michael (Tammy) Isaacs of Springfield, niece Tasha (Josh) Holman of Piqua, and several great nephews, Tyler, Daniel, Payton, Riley, Alexander and Julian, all of Sidney.  He was preceded in death by brother, Christopher Sailor, sister, Clarissa "Pinky" Sailor, grandparents and several aunts and uncles. 

Jeffery was a graduate of Sidney High School.  He liked to fish, walk through the parks, take pictures of nature, play board games, video games, new electronic gadgets and spending time with his family.  He also enjoyed watching movies, listening to older music and he was a talented artist.  Jeffery used to life weights, work out and did a little modeling in his younger years.

A Gathering to Celebrate Jeffery's life will be held on Monday, July 2, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave.  A Private Burial will take place at the family's convenience at Pearl Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help offset final expenses.  Condolences may be expressed to the Sailor family at our website, www.cromesfh.com
