Jeanne Ann McMahon

JEANNE ANN MCMAHON, 94, of Sidney, passed away at 12:42 A.M. Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Wilson Health. She was born on March 3, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of  the late James A. and Carrie (Thomas) McCauley. On October 7, 1951 she married Thomas John McMahon, who preceded her in death on September 28, 2004.

Jeanne is survived by five sons, Michael McMahon, Patrick (Shannen) McMahon, Dennis (Sabrina) McMahon, Timothy (Patricia) McMahon, and Christopher McMahon; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Osa Gay McMahon. She was preceded in death by one son, Kevin McMahon; one grandson, Thomas McMahon; and three sisters.

Jeanne moved to Sidney in 1977. From that time on she was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. She worked for the Sidney-Shelby County YMCA for many years and retired in 2015. In her younger years she enjoyed playing golf and boating. Most recently she spent her time reading and playing crossword puzzles. Jeanne was an avid Michigan football and basketball fan and occasionally attended games with her family. She never did master modern technology but didn’t let that keep her from staying in touch with her family the best she could. She was loved greatly and will be truly missed.  

Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 19, 2024 at 12 P.M. at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 10 A.M. until the time of service. Condolences may be expressed to the McMahon family at, www.cromesfh.com
