Jean Kaminski

JEAN KAMINSKI, 93, of Sidney passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022. She was born on October 30, 1928 in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles and Gladys (Hetzler) Middleton.

On August 19, 1950 she married Elton G. Kaminski who preceded her in death on November 1, 2014. She is survived by two daughters, Karin Neels and Tina (David) Dammeyer, six grandchildren: Heather Davis, Lindsay Andrews, Kimberly Dunham, Eric Davis, Angela (Dustin) Shoe, and Brian Moon. She had nine great-grandchildren. A daughter, Susan Trabue preceded her in death on June 9, 2017. Her son-in-law Michael Trabue survives. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma Sargeant and Eileen Berner.

Mrs. Kaminski was a 1946 graduate of Green Township High School in Plattsville. Jean was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, gardening, crossword puzzles, and traveling with her husband Elton. Growing up on a farm she loved animals, especially her dog, Mitzi.

She treasured the time spent with family and friends and will be greatly missed by her family and all that knew her.

There will be a private service held at the convenience of the family.
