Jason Lee Fout, 59, of Sidney, passed away peacefully in the early morning of Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at his home. He was born on May 17, 1965, in Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late Jacob and Jean (Rider) Fout.
Jason is survived by three children: Dusty Fout of Sidney, Kristin Fout of Georgia, and Cody Fout of Xenia, OH; five siblings: Vicki Stephens of Sidney, Mark (Vicky) Korn of Indiana, Eric (Stephenie) Fout of Sidney, Beverly (Todd) Strawsburg of Ohio, and Marilyn (Mike) Hannegan of Oklahoma; five grandchildren: DeSean Fout-Price, JaySonna Fout-Price, Zi'er Fout, Jaynee Fout, and Dusty Fout Jr., two great-grandchildren: AnnaLeiah Fout-Price and Ezekiel Fout, and significant other, Marcy Schmitt. He was preceded in death by his sister, Tami Fout, his brother-in-law, Donald Stephens, and his nephew, Shawn Stephens.
A graduate of Sidney High School, Jason worked for many years at Stolle Corporation and most recently as a supervisor at John Deere in Piqua. He had a deep love for rock music, especially playing the drums, which was one of his greatest passions.
Funeral services for Jason will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service. In keeping with his wishes, Jason will be cremated following the service.
