Jamie Rae (Barker) Daniels

Surrounded by her loved ones, Jamie gained her perfect wings on the morning of September 17, 2024. Jamie was born on January 19, 1981 to the late Sharon Ilse (Chaney) and James Barker, who survives.

Survived by her children Hujron and Tim Hofer of Hampton, IA, Layla Alshara of Clear Lake, IA, Hannaha Alshara of Mason City, IA, Jailyn Tarrant of Mason City, IA, and Wasfie Alshara of Mason City, IA. Her siblings Angel Barker of Sidney, OH, Mauro and Hope Perez of Mason City, IA, and Serenity and Sylus Barker of St.Paris, OH. Her four grandchildren Naomi Juarez, Hakim Alshara, Ezra Hofer and Amelia Hofer. Jamie is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

Jamie is proceeded in death by her mother, Sharon Ilse, stepfather, Raymond Ilse, sister, Stacy Fannin, father like mentor Tommy Henderson, and longtime companion William “Lamont” Spradling.

Jamie was the life of the party and one many called a friend. She spent a lot of her free time volunteering. She was wild and confident. She made herself known wherever she went. Jamie loved playing bingo and was always a winner. Jamie enjoyed sitting in the park, volunteering with youth, and loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She will be missed dearly.

Funeral Services will be held Monday September 30, 2024 at 1 PM at Cromes - Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney, Ohio.
