James "Jim" W. Clark

JAMES W. "JIM" CLARK, 85, of Sidney, passed away at 12:43 P.M. Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Wilson Health. He was born on September 17, 1936 in Stanton, Tennessee, the son of the late Theodore and Nell (Chaney) Clark. On March 30, 1957 he married the former Carol J. Rush, who preceded him in death on February 5, 2014.

Jim is survived by four children, Debra (Ron) Nation of Sidney, Donald (Olga) Clark of Gainesville, FL, Darrell (Peggi) Clark of St. Marys, OH, and Brenda (Vern) Siegel of Sidney; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Sarah (Andy) Pequinot of Texas; numerous nieces and nephews; and close friend, Jean Dean of Sidney. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Darla Pogue; one great-granddaughter, Bristol Bowie; three brothers and four sisters.

Jim was retired from Ross Aluminum, a job he greatly enjoyed for more than 35 years. He was a collector of all things, he loved to fish, and always kept himself busy piddling around outside. Jim had a green thumb and could keep nearly anything growing. His greatest joy was his family. He loved his grandchildren dearly and taught them all to like coffee at a very young age, perhaps too young.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 6, 2021 at 2 P.M. at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Bro. Roe Cantrell officiating. Burial will be at Shelby Memory Gardens.
