James Keith Welsh

JAMES KEITH WELSH, 62 of Sidney, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 9:35 PM at Hospice of Miami County in Troy. He was born on June 24, 1963, in Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late Paul Welsh Jr. and Pauline (Naseman) Otting.

On November 20, 2012, Jim married Sharon (Barnes) who survives along with two sons: Tyler Welsh, and Troy Welsh both of Sidney, stepdaughter, Kendra (Rob) Berryman of Anna, eight sisters: Jean (Tim) Standley of Sidney, Sue (Joe) Hunkler of DeGraff, Joyce (Paul) Ellis of Anna, Kim Swisher, Mary Orndorff both of Sidney, Betty (Tim) Ike of Kettlersville, Rita (Dave) Platfoot, and Beth (Wayne) Russell both of Anna, four grandchildren: Brayden Welsh, Marissa, Julia, and Alison Berryman, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brother, Joe Welsh, sister, Patsy Naseman, and brothers-in-law, Kevin Orndorff, and Ike Swisher.

Jim was a graduate of Anna High School. He retired from the Honda Engine Plant in Anna in 2020 after 30 years as a Team Leader and Production Staff. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy and Ohio State Buckeyes fan. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, summers relaxing on the deck, and watching his son-in-law’s sermons on Sundays. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.

In keeping with Jim’s wishes, no services are to be held. His final arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home.
