JAMES WALTON SARVER, age 76 of Sidney, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 2:30 AM at Fair Haven Shelby County Home. He was born on April 27, 1945 in Macon, Georgia, the son of the late Walton and Velma (Bogart) Sarver.
He is survived by two children, Shelly (Darrin) Webb of Sidney, and Curtis Scott (Rebecca) Sarver of Valley View, TX, longtime friend and mother of his children, Penny Ross of Quincy, two siblings, John (Paulette) Sarver of Sidney, and Marijane (Nick) Kendall of Kingman, AZ, and four grandchildren, Kelsie and Zachary Webb, and Kade and Kavan Sarver. He was preceded in death by nephew, Barry A. Kendall.
Mr. Sarver served his country in the US Navy from 1965 to 1974. He recently retired form NAPA Auto Parts in Sidney.
Jim loved his dogs, helping on the farm, and enjoyed spending time outdoors. Most of all he loved his family, and the time spent with them.
A Private Graveside Service will be held at Plattsville Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home.
