James Neer

James Neer age 75 of Jackson Center passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 12:36 PM at home. He was born on December 31, 1949 in Sidney the son of Gaylord and Betty (Lenhart) Neer.

James is survived by his loving family, wife Lisa (Herring) Neer, children Jason (Wendy Niswonger) Neer, Kristin (Christopher) Day, and Craig (Stephanie) Frawley, grandchildren McKenzie (Jacob) Nelson, Fayth Neer, Madyson Neer, Jerzie Butts, Jaycie Butts, Aurora Neer, Jaylie Day, Chad Frawley and Savannah Frawley great grandchildren Graysynn and Ryleigh and his Dachshund Kahnway.

James is preceded in death by his parents and his Dachshund Vienna.

James was a graduate of Anna High School class of 1969. He loved listening to rock music. He enjoyed the open road riding on his Harley Davidson. During his children’s high school years, he loved watching them compete in

Cross Country and Track & Field events. James was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed by all who love him.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Halter officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cromesfh.com
