James E. Kauffman

JAMES "Jim" E. KAUFFMAN, 88, of Sidney, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital.
He was born on September 27, 1932 in Lima, Ohio, the son of the late Howard and Virginia (Diers) Kauffman.

He is survived by his loving family, wife Jeannette (Cotterman) Kauffman, children Gayla Watson and Gary (Lisa) Kauffman, grandchildren Shannon Mendoza, Alisha Kauffman, and Craig (Devon) Kauffman, great grandchildren Brenton, Logan, Angelita, Tyler, Kaylee, and Steven, great great grandchildren Laken, Nova, and Dominic, nieces Jackie Harrison and Theresa Hendrix, and many other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Vonya Briones and his sister and brother in law, Carol and Jack Minnic.

Mr.Kauffman was retired from Duriron after 48 1/2 dedicated years, he also worked for Public Shelby Transit and drove bus for Fairlawn Schools.  He loved to fish and most of all he loved his family.  Jim will be missed by all who love him.
 
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2021 1:00 P.M. at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Rev. Philip K. Chilcote officiating.  Friends may call two hours prior from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Due to the current pandemic the family asks that a mask is worn and maintain proper social distancing.
