James D. Donaldson

JAMES D. DONALDSON, 59, of Sidney passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 3:44 AM at James Cancer Center in Columbus. He was born on September 15, 1962 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, the son of the late Roy James and Emma (Berger) Donaldson. On February 27, 1988, James married the former Debra Packer, who survives.

He is survived by four children, Joseph Goshorn Jr. of Newport, Amber Wierwille of Anna, Keagan Donaldson of Sidney and Dayna Donaldson of Sidney; eight grandchildren and three siblings, Roy (Kim) Donaldson of Sidney, Karen Rickert of Sidney and Doni (Stacey) Donaldson of Sidney. James was preceded in death by grandchild, Mason Donaldson.

Mr. Donaldson was employed by Continental Express Inc. James proudly served in the United States Army. He enjoyed bowling, golfing and spending time with family and friends. In his spare time, James loved playing with his cats and dogs. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Sidney.

Funeral Services will be held Monday January 3, 2022 at 4 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney with Rev. Steve Edmiston officiating.  Friends may visit from 2 PM up until time of service at the funeral home. A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday January 4, 2022 at 10 AM at Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the Donaldson family at our website, www.cromesfh.com
