Jacqueline J. Maxson

JACQUELINE J. MAXSON, 93, of Sidney, passed at 11:45 A.M. Friday, January 14, 2022 at Wilson Health. She was born on August 2, 1928 in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles and Bertha (Brockman) Bower. On May 17, 1952 she married Lawrence "Budd" Maxson, who preceded her in death in 1992.

Jacqueline is survived by one son, John Maxson of Crawfordville, FL; one sister, Dorothy Milton of Crawfordville, FL; three granddaughters, Shelly (Greg) Coverstone, Carri (David) Jones and Tiffany (Matt) Jarrells, all three of Sidney; five great-grandchildren; special niece, Charlotte Clark; and close friends, Phyllis Gerkey, Peggy Deatherage and Deb Clay. She was preceded in death by one son, Dennis Maxson; one great-granddaughter, Ashlee Coverstone; one brother, Ted Bower; and special friend, Andrew Close.

Jaqueline was a graduate of Sidney High School, class of 1946. She was co-owner of Maxson's Greenhouses in Sidney for many years. Following the sale of the greenhouses she worked at Walmart for 12 years until retiring. Jaqueline was an avid gardener. She enjoyed playing solitaire, she cherished her close friendships, and she loved spending time with her family.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 10 A.M. at Pearl Cemetery in Swanders with Pastor Kenneth Castor officiating. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed to Jaqueline's family at, www.cromesfh.com
