Homer Lowell McClure Jr.

HOMER LOWELL MCCLURE JR., 88, of Ocala, FL formerly of Sidney passed away Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 7:15 AM at TimberRidge Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Ocala, FL. He was born on December 9, 1933 in Hartford, Connecticut, the son of the late Homer and Mary (Blake) McClure Sr. In October 1971, Lowell married the former Evelyn Kemble Mazarre, who preceded him in death January 11, 2003.

He is survived by two children, Kona (Terry) Horler and Lani (Tim Condon) McClure both of Elmhurst, IL and one grandson, Spencer McClure of New York. Lowell was preceded in death by son, Homer Lowell McClure III and two brothers, Robert and James McClure.

Mr. McClure retired after 27 years working as a Phone Center Manager for A.C. Nielsen in Dunedin, FL. Lowell proudly served in the United States Army from 1954 until 1962 in which he was stationed at the Schofield Barracks on the island of O'ahu in the state of Hawai'i.

In honoring Lowell wishes, no services are to be held. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney, Ohio. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney. Condolences may be expressed to the McClure Jr. family at our website, www.cromesfh.com
