George W. Reier

GEORGE W. REIER, age 76 of Sidney, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 11:09 PM at his home. He was born on March 21, 1947, in St. Marys, Ohio, the son of the late LeRoy and Susan (Casperson) Reier.

On October 1, 1966 he married Linda (Baumer) who survives along with son, Richard Reier of Sidney, brother, Henry (Carol) Reier of Celina, seven sisters: Maxine Thobe of Sidney, Betty Partington, Barbara (Virgil) Frantz both of Versailles, Esther Wells of New Bremen, Florence (Mark) Boeckman of Georgia, Shirley (Dale) Meyer of St Marys, and Helen (Carl) Magato of Anna, five grandchildren: Richard, Matt, Nick, Justin, and Austin, and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brother, Nicholas Reier, and two sisters, Nancy Werling, and Ruth Schweitzer.

Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Pearl Cemetery in Swanders with Deacon Philip B Meyers officiating. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home.
