Gayle Lynn (Collier) Patterson

GAYLE LYNN (COLLIER) PATTERSON, 80 of Piqua, passed away Monday, January 12, 2026, at 7:55 AM at Hospice of Miami County. She was born on June 12, 1945, in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of the late Fenton M. and Irene I. (Brooks) Collier. In 1978 she married Albert David Patterson who preceded her in death June 29, 2016.

She is survived by three children: Tonya R. Pitman, Lawrence A. (Tina) Pitman both of Piqua, and Tiffany Patterson of Detroit, MI, one brother, Jeffrey R. Collier of Port Charlotte, FL, 12 grandkids, and 17 great-grandkids. She was preceded in death by one sister, Brenda J. Liller.

Gayle was a graduate of Sidney High School and worked for Copeland Corporation. She enjoyed crocheting, shopping, and eating out. She loved dancing, especially to Classic Motown R&B.

Funeral Services for Gayle will be held Friday, January 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
