Frances Louise Cronbaugh

FRANCES LOUISE CRONBAUGH, 77, of Sidney, passed away at 10:40 A.M. Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Momentous Health. She was born on April 29, 1948 in Sidney, Ohio, the daughter of the late George William and Mary Catherine (Long) Cronbaugh.

Frances is survived by her sister, Martha (Ralph E.) Tackett of Beavercreek, OH. 

Frances dedicated over 25 years as a registered nurse, spending most of that time serving patients at Piqua Memorial Hospital. She then worked for Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy before concluding her career at Sidney Care Center (now Momentous Health). Outside of her work, Frances had a passion for crocheting and was a naturally gifted photographer. One of her fond memories from earlier years was taking the passenger train from Sidney to Muncie, Indiana, a journey she cherished deeply. Inspired by those travels, she later captured a striking photograph of the old Sidney train depot, the very place where those trips began. That image is now proudly displayed at the Ross Historical Society in Sidney. Frances also shared a close and loving bond with her sister Martha. Their connection was strong and enduring, and they held a deep affection for one another throughout their lives.
