FLOYD LAMBDIN, JR., 82, of Sidney passed away at 11:39 P.M. Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Wilson Health. He was born on July 9, 1938 in Pruden, Tennessee, the son of the late Floyd Lambdin and Martha (Lemons) Teague. On March 7, 1957 he married the former Jeanetta Fay Hughes, who preceded him in death on August 27, 2020.
Floyd is survived by three children, Leslie (Tim) Wallace, Eva (Sam) Puckett, and Denny Lambdin, all three of Sidney; grandchildren, Matt, Josh and Dan Cox, Kenny and Jon Puckett, Erika Butler, Rachel Lightle, Kelley Lambdin, Whitney Swafford, MacKenzie and McKenna Murphy; sixteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Lisa (Kelly) Neal of Powell, TN; and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Chet Teague; and close grandfather, Lex Lemons.
Floyd was a career truck driver and was the owner of both Hughes Moving and Lambdin Hughes Trucking. He enjoyed his work and he also enjoyed the time he spent in the cockpit of a plane, flying. Anyone who knew Floyd, knew that his family was of the greatest importance to him. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and his will be greatly missed by them all.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 4, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Thobe officiating. His final resting place will be at Graceland Cemetery.
