FLOTINE B. “FLO” CAUDILL, 88, of Sidney, passed away at 2:17 P.M. Friday, July 11, 2025 at Landings of Sidney. She was born on September 1, 1936 in Floyd County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Millard and Gilla (Burchwell) Blanton. On August 16, 1955 she married Denver Caudill, who preceded her in death on March 5, 2017.
Flo is survived by her son, Randy (Sharon) Caudill of Sidney; two granddaughters, Hollie (Jason) McLain of Maplewood, and Brittany (Ryan) Manger of Troy; great-grandchildren, Marlie, Logyn, and Jaxon McLain, and Ezra, Amos, Leah and Selah Manger; one sister, Loretta (George) Middleton; numerous nieces and nephews; and many special friends, including Theresa Estepp and Timri Berning. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clyde and Clifford Blanton; and one sister, Delores Flinders.
Flo’s greatest joy and purpose in life was serving the Lord. Alongside her husband, she was actively involved for decades at United Baptist Church and, in recent years, faithfully attended Grace Baptist Church in Sidney. A talented seamstress, Flo worked for Holloway Sportswear for many years. She had a love for flowers and gardening and cherished her time with her quilt club. Above all, Flo was a devoted grandmother who deeply loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed greatly by her family, church family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 12 P.M. at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Elder Arvil Murray, Pastor Ryan Manger, and Rev. Curt Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until the time of service.
