Ethel Y. Blankenship

Ethel Y. Blankenship age 80 of Quincy passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 1:30 PM at Kettering Medical Center. She was born May 21, 1944, in Casey County, Kentucky, the daughter of William and Ruby (Fields) Luttrell.

Ethel is survived by her loving family husband Gary Blankenship who she married in 1991, son Michael Maxey, step-sons Rob (Jolene) Blankenship, Jay (Keith) Blankenship, and Gary (Justine) Blankenship, sister Barbara Nelson, brother Kenith (Charlotte) Luttrell Sr, sister-in-law Carolyn (Bob) Holliker, a proud grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother to 20, and lots of nieces, nephews and friends she thought of as family who she loved dearly.

Ethel is preceded in death by brother Dale Luttrell and wife Maggie, son Charles Maxey, step daughter Linda Blankenship and sister-in-law Rose Teague.

 Ethel loved to eat Chinese food, going to yard sales, being in the garden and painting. Most of all she loved her family, going to church and loved her Lord.
