Eric Joseph Paulus

ERIC JOSEPH PAULUS, 42, of Sidney, passed away at 8:50 P.M. Tuesday, May 18, 2021. He was born on May 3, 1979 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of Theresa (Gregory Scholl) Haynes, and Jerry Branscum, both of Sidney. 

On July 30, 2011 he married April Johnston, who survives Eric, along with three children, Steven Paulus, Ethan Paulus, both of Sidney, and Aryka Paulus of South Carolina; one grandson on the way, Conner; niece and nephew, Allison Miller and Brandon Miller, both of Sidney; and sister-in-law, Buffy (Bill) Carey of Sidney. He was preceded in death by his sister, Alicia Paulus, and stepfather, Jim Haynes. 

Eric was self-employed and worked in construction and remodeling. He was a "jack of all trades, but a master of none." Eric was always willing to stop what he was doing to help out someone else in need. He enjoyed fishing and camping, but his greatest love was spending time with his family, especially his kids.

A Graveside Service will be held at Shelby Memory Gardens on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 10:30 A.M. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed to Eric's family at, www.cromesfh.com
